Belinda first started her professional career within the insurance industry in 2009 as a claims specialist for the Suncorp Group. She was the initial point of contact for all Customers, Brokers & Agents during claims lodgement. A few years later, Belinda moved to London and worked for the busiest regional Video Conference booking desk in UBS, the world’s second largest wealth management company. As it was a fast paced environment she had to display initiative and act quickly whilst delivering exceptional customer service.

In 2013 Belinda returned to Australia where she was offered a position at Australian Risk Applications as an Assistant Broker and over the past 10 years has advanced her career and is now the General Manager. Belinda has undertaken studies with the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) which she graduated with a Diploma of Insurance Broking and is currently qualified as a Senior Associate of ANZIIF. She then progressed her studies further and in 2020, she graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Graduate Certificate in Commerce. 

With 10 years of experience in the marine insurance industry, Belinda has gained valuable technical expertise and has helped countless clients by working diligently with them to find a solution that meets their business needs.
