Samantha started her career in the insurance industry in 1998 as an Assistant Underwriter at Lumley General Insurance, predominantly in Marine before moving into the Motor Department as Fleet Client Co-ordinator.

 

In 2001 Samantha moved into broking at Marsh as an Assistant Account Executive where she completed her Tier 1 qualification with ANZIIF before taking time out to raise three children.

 

On her return to the workforce, Samantha contracted to Dual Asia Pacific and Zurich Insurance before joining SURA Marine in 2017 as an Assistant Underwriter where she progressed into an underwriting role before joining HDI in the same capacity.

 

After several years in the world of underwriting, Samantha has recently made the transition to a thrilling new role as a Marine Broker at Australian Risk Applications. Her ability to blend precision and attention to detail from her underwriting days with a profound passion for helping clients makes her the ideal Broker.
