Shane started work as a trainee Average Adjuster in London in 1975, working on Hull & Machinery Claims, graduating up to working on major General Average claims involving extensive damage to both ship & cargo, including the involvement of Salvors engaged under  Lloyd's Open Form. 

He was also extensively involved in a large number of Energy Losses involving Control of Well costs; some claims involving costs  exceeding $300M.  In addition, Shane worked in Athens for 2 years preparing various Hull & Machinery and/or Loss of Hire claims for a large number of prestigious Greek Shipowners.

Since relocating to Australia in 1988, Shane has worked for insurers and brokers, with specific emphasis on major claims in Commercial Hull, handling various Liability matters with Lawyers, and Major Cargo Losses, including logistics and perishables, both locally and overseas.

Shane brings over 45 years of work experience to the team and the company, which enhances the quality of advice and service to all stakeholders.
